Aptec combines efforts with Network Associates to refine and further strengthen its reseller channel for enterprise solutions

June 1, 2003

Aptec one of the largest and fastest-growing IT distributors in the Middle East, combines efforts with Network Associates to refine and further strengthen its reseller channel for Magic Solutions, a strategic enterprise solution, in order to maintain high standards of reseller representation. Aptec has been distributing the Magic Solutions product line for several years in the region and its strong presence in the Middle East and Africa has led to greater interest for this product line.

Magic Solutions, a Network Associates business unit, is a leading provider of browser-based service management solutions (Service Desk, Asset tracking, and Change management software solutions), for a wide range of business needs including IT, customer support, quality assurance, human resources and facilities. For over 15 years, Magic has been providing customers with solutions and best practices that improve service, increase productivity and reduce costs.

"As service management solutions become mission critical in organizations, we need to ensure that customers receive the service and support that such applications require. We therefore demand from our partners that they offer the complete solution locally, which includes the products, implementation services, customer training and customer support. Our long association with Network Associates and Magic Solutions has helped to provide the necessary training to the right resellers to offer this complete solution," said Ilyas Mohammed, Group Product Manager, Aptec.

Magic solutions are used around the world by small and large corporations. There are currently over 80 enterprise customers in the Middle East region, which incorporates the financial, oil, telecommunications, manufacturing, and government and education sectors. Magic Solutions currently operates through its channel in UAE, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Pakistan and the Levant region.
